In the Spine Clinic we focus on diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute muscle, bone and joint conditions related to the spine including.
Specialized assessment and diagnostic tests will be provided to determine the underlying cause of joint pain, stiffness, or dysfunction.
Based on what we find, we will develop a treatment plan aimed at alleviating symptoms and improving joint function.
Our team will spend time educating you on proper joint care, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term joint health and reduce the risk of future injuries.
By following the recovery plan that may incorporate physical therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and/or pain interventions, you’ll have the best shot at restoring your function and mobility.
We’ll be there along the way to address any unresolved issues using our in-house resources and refer you to other practitioners when required.
People with non-acute, non-spine conditions involving the muscles, bones and joints. This may include people with chronic joint conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, degenerative joint disease, joint instability and people seeking non-surgical treatment options like physical therapy, injections, bracing or orthotics.
A referral is required. Click here to print off a referral form to take to whoever is managing this aspect of your care (i.e, family doctor, physiotherapist, chiropractor…etc) and ask them to refer you to Vivo Cura Health’s “Spine Clinic”.
Using the information gathered from your intake form, a doctor and allied health team member (usually an athletic therapist or physiotherapist) will work together to get a clear understanding of the nature of your injury and develop a treatment plan and address anything that they can on the spot. Education will be provided to help you through recovery. The most important key to your recovery is your commitment to following the treatment plan when you leave our clinic.
It really depends on the nature of your condition but multiple visits are likely. Getting a proper diagnosis of your spine condition may require diagnostic injections or nerve tests, therapeutic injections or treatments and almost always requires physical rehabilitation, all of which we can provide in-house.
