Taylor Burnham, DO MSCI completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency – where he served as Chief Resident – and a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Burnham also completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) at the University of Utah while in his residency and fellowship training.

His clinical and research interest areas include the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of acute and chronic neck and back problems, including: disc herniations, spinal stenosis, facet joint pain, sacroiliac joint pain, and other degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He is also interested in orthobiologics (PRP and BMAC) for painful spine conditions, genicular denervation for non-operative chronic knee pain, and neuromodulation (peripheral nerve and spinal cord stimulation). His approach is multi-modal and patient-centered.

He is involved in multiple clinical trials with the overarching goal of improving minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments for patients with painful spine and other musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Burnham actively serves on the Research Division of the Spine Intervention Society and has published over 30 peer-reviewed abstracts, journal articles, and textbook chapters.

He is originally from Alberta, Canada, and enjoys surfing, skateboarding, biking, snowboarding, skiing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
