Nathan, a Certified Athletic Therapist CAT(C), obtained his bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Mount Royal University in 2019. His interest in Athletic Therapy stems from a history of repetitive injuries during his youth as a competitive climber.
Following his certification, Nathan established his practice at the Calgary Climbing Centre Rocky Mountain location, focusing on treating and rehabilitating climbers. He also provides urgent care and injury management for the CCC’s competitive youth and adult teams during competitions, including the recent Canadian Speed Climbing Nationals. Known as ‘the hand guy’ at Vivo due to his specialized experience, Nathan also enjoys covering a range of sports such as football, hockey, soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
Outside of work, Nathan finds enjoyment in travel, whether for climbing or leisure, as well as skiing and cycling. On rainy days, he equally appreciates board game nights or relaxing with a bag of cheetos while watching a movie.
