Jennifer, originally from Richmond, BC, graduated with a Bachelors of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO) in 2014, where she also played for the UBCO Varsity Soccer team. She later moved to Calgary to pursue her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University, completing it in 2018. Jennifer began her career in WCB Return to Work programs and transitioned to clinical work in sports medicine in 2020.
Introduced to Athletic Therapy as a young athlete coping with injuries, Jennifer was inspired by the opportunity to assist others through exercise and enable them to pursue their passions. Since becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist, she has been involved in community sports, notably with the Calgary Fire, and currently works with one of their U18AA teams.
