Austin graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, after also completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. He was born and raised in St. Albert, Alberta before moving down to Calgary to build his career as a clinician.
Austin believes carefully curated exercise programs, with a complement of hands-on therapy and patient education, can greatly reduce pain and improve function for patients. He loves sharing his knowledge of the human body and movement with patients so that they understand the process and have the mental tools to succeed in rehab.
Austin’s practice is centered around using an active approach to physical therapy interventions to achieve lifelong positive results for patients of all fitness levels. He strives to provide quality individualized care, with a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
When Austin isn’t busy helping people achieve their movement goals you can find him in the mountains hiking, climbing or snowboarding, depending on the season. He is also passionate about an array of sports and is happy to chat with you about your favourite sport, team, or player.
