Alex is a physiotherapist who is passionate about helping patients get back to living life to the fullest. Alex uses current research and continuing education courses to help tackle tricky pains. His care approach emphasizes treating the whole person and tailoring his approach to each unique client. Before joining Vivo, Alex worked for several years in multidisciplinary teams aimed at helping patients with persistent pain. As a kinesiologist, he worked in different settings including the outpatient neurological clinic, long term care centre, on-site occupational rehab, and with professional and development team volleyball athletes. Before starting as a physio, Alex did a Master’s Thesis in Rehabilitation Science, looking at chronic back pain. Outside of the clinic, Alex is a busy dad of 3. When he’s not picking up toys or wiping runny noses, he tries to lead an active healthy lifestyle, competing in high level beach volleyball and lifting weights. He is also an avid explorer of food, cooking interesting recipes or finding unique restaurants in the city.
