Simon was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He graduated from Mount Royal University in Spring 2025 with a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education (BHPE), majoring in Athletic Therapy. Growing up, Simon played competitive hockey, and after receiving care for a major injury, he was inspired to pursue a career in Athletic Therapy.

Simon is currently involved in a variety of sports settings, working with SAIT Athletics, the Saracens Rugby Club, and Bantam Football. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active through recreational sports and spending time outdoors hiking and fishing.
